Peter Lalor's wig 假髮, 1880-1887
Peter Lalor, the leader of the Eureka rebellion (尤利卡起事:是一場由澳洲巴拉瑞特的金礦礦工發起、反抗英國的殖民當局的武裝起事。), arrived on the Ballarat goldfields in 1854 after migrating from Ireland. Lalor was wounded during the Eureka Stockade (尤利卡城寨之戰) and went into hiding after escaping.
Following the acquittal獲釋 of the Eureka miners, Lalor was elected to Victorian Parliament in 1856 and remained there until he resigned due to poor health in 1887.
He wore this wig when he was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Victorian Parliament.
