The Copper Hills of Arizona 亞利桑那銅山的礦石 @The Copper Hills of Arizona
These specimens, as well as the nearby Singing Stone, hall from Bisbee, Arizona. The Mule Mountains surrounding Bisbee were once home to high-grade copper ore bodies (高品質銅礦所在地). These deposits were formed during Arizona's tectonically active past (過去地質構造活躍時期) and enriched by descending groundwater that redistributed dissolved metals. Beneath the mountains' metal-poor surface, the Mule Mountains hid rich ores of copper, gold and silver.
